GLASGOW NECROPOLIS
20 minute drive
A life-affirming stroll.
Walks in Glasgow don’t get more dramatic than at the Glasgow Necropolis. See the resting place of more than 50,000 people in a space filled with elaborate and ornate crypts and tombs.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads in some areas.

THE CLYDE WALKWAY
30 minute drive
Relax with a riverside ramble.
One for serious walkers. The 40-mile route between Partick in Glasgow and New Lanark in South Lanarkshire starts in the heart of the city and ends in a gorge complete with waterfalls. Pack your best walking shoes and a strong sense of adventure.

KELVINGROVE PARK LOOP
35 minute drive
Not your usual walk in the park.
This circular trail in the heart of the city is perfect if you don’t have the chance to explore the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. See the baroque building from afar and stop for a coffee along the way. An ideal way to spend a spare hour in the city.

GLASGOW CITY CENTRE MURAL TRAIL
30 minute drive
An art space enjoyed at your own pace .
The earliest mural in Glasgow’s open-air art gallery appeared in 2008 and since then, more than 20 additional artworks have popped up across the city. The best way to see them all is to follow the free audio guide.
